About us

We're a Swedish–British couple in our early thirties who have proudly called Barcelona home for the past seven years. During that time, we've come to understand both the joys and the challenges of owning a home in Catalonia—especially when you're living abroad.We created Sage Door because we saw something missing: a reliable, trustworthy service dedicated to caring for second homes. Whether it's concerns about storm damage, unexpected maintenance, squatters, or simply the uncertainty of being far away, we know how important it is to have someone dependable on the ground.We're organised, responsible people who genuinely enjoy helping others, and Sage Door is our way of giving back to the community that has given us so much. We understand that navigating life in another country can be challenging, particularly if you don't speak Spanish, and our goal is to make owning a home here feel effortless, secure and stress-free.Outside of work, we've built a life we love in Barcelona—filled with salsa dancing, skateboarding, discovering great local restaurants, long walks with our 10-year-old dog, and a shared passion for exploring new places.
